The AK-7 Computer Workstation Standard Console for the Dodge Charger (2011+) is a floor-mounted Standard Console engineered for patrol vehicles that prioritize laptop ergonomics, passenger legroom, and in-vehicle productivity.
With a 7-inch console capacity, this console is designed to hold and support essential control equipment while integrating a smooth-glide laptop tray that keeps the computer secured near the dash while driving. When stationary, the tray slides and locks into an optimal working position, allowing officers to type, review reports, and manage CAD systems without compromising seat space.
The console architecture supports a universal Cable-Dock® securing system, compatible with standard and rugged laptops. For agencies using Panasonic Toughbooks, the system is designed to accept Kodiak docking configurations via a GK plate and compatible iDock docking stations (sold separately).
As a Standard Console, this unit requires a compatible floor plate for installation. Installation is performed top-down using the appropriate floor plate, with no drilling required. The AK-7 layout is optimized to maximize passenger-side legroom, making it well suited for two-officer patrol units and FTO vehicles.
